- Phase 1 (05.04.2024 08:00 – 07.06.2024 23:59)
The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with ways to reduce energy consumption, maintain appropriate thermal comfort and proper indoor air quality.
The course is addressed to students of first and second cycle studies from European universities (Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) who are interested in modern solutions for sustainable buildings, HVAC installations and energy sources for low-energy buildings.
To achieve the set goals, students will learn current solutions in the field of sustainable construction during stationary classes. Students will use modern software in English to design the HVAC system. Students will work in international teams of 4 (each student from a different university) to ensure an international and interdisciplinary environment. A study visit to a company using pro-ecological technologies is planned. In the afternoons, students will participate in cultural activities aimed at familiarizing themselves with the history, culture and architecture of Białystok.
The remote part will start immediately after classes organized at the Białystok University of Technology and will last 14 days. During the virtual part, participants will be required to solve a practical design problem within the given time.
