Here in the East, we have a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship, which is slowly disappearing due to mass production. This workshop begins with a fundamental question: Is it possible to connect these two worlds? Together, we will search for answers.

Our goal is to combine craftsmanship with production and design education. We have invited skilled craftsmen who will work hand in hand with students, as well as our partner company Wiór, which will provide which will provide some of the materials - chipboard or MDF. The furniture created during the workshop will be a collage of rapid mass production techniques and slow, traditional craftsmanship processes.

During online sessions, teams will develop their designs under the guidance of instructors. These designs will then be brought to life during the in-person workshop. The final results will be presented in an exhibition as part of East Design Days in Białystok (October 2025).
